Is that all this man, this "hardcore capitalist," thinks of--Money?!!!!
Is there anything Dr. B doesn't link to the acquisition of financial wealth? Thinking with such market-driven values can only lead to spiritual bankruptcy!
Take this from someone who knows a little something about Education. It should NEVER function as a means to and end. It should never be opportunistically acquired, to further the pursuit of ephemeral and ethereal quantities--like money!!!!!!!!
Damn, Dr. B: Shape Up! I'm scared--literally--for my people, the younger generation. Dr. B has them bound to this kind of brash, inhumane, empty, crass, Pyrrhic, hollow, capitalistic mindset.
Lord, help us--and them... and this "People's Scholar"!!!
If someone isn't speaking ill of you or your efforts I guess that means you aren't making a difference. Since the anonymous crew does nothing but speak negativity, why speak? I'll tell you why, because all of you wish you could do the things he has done and will do. Stop hating, stop hiding, and stop being cowards. If Dr. B can show this materialistic generation the monetary benefits of education, why not use them? The Dept. of Educ. publishes statistics that show, the more you're educated, the more money you make, or at least their earning potential rises. These kids need something to motivate them; lawd knows parents aren't doing enough. Feel free to man up and put a name to the critical analysis.
Excellent analysis. This is where we need to be as black people. We have to understand the significance of wealth creation so that we can achieve our economic dreams.

This is my favorite show. It's good to hear positive black men talking about positive things.
