Dr Boyce Watkins v. The NCAA…John Calipari’s Contract

www.BoyceWatkins.com

Sources says that John Calipari from U. Memphis is close to inking a 6-year, $40 Million dollar contract to sign with the University of Kentucky.  Not only does this contract steam me because Kentucky is my alma mater, but it is indescribably unethical for a professional sports league like the NCAA to spend this kind of money and then simultaneously claim that it cannot afford to share revenues with the families of basketball and football players.

I love when these deals are signed, since it reminds the public of just how hypocritical the NCAA happens to be.

There story is here.

I do not think the vast majority of the public could care less if college players do not get paid. Therefore, I do not think the public will see this as hypocritical. Furthermore, the NCAA does not pay the coaches, the schools do. When teams succeed, more revenue comes back to the school, which they can put back into education and scholarships for people to attend the university.

It is pretty pathetic how you are championing this non-issue just have something to quarrel with.

Keep championing the issue Dr. Boyce. White people are never going to agree with you on this. Black power must be taken, as many people want to see our kids remain in poverty while they make white men rich.
